Human bodies have been a subject for artists since the beginning of time. In the series ‘Any Body’ Tracy De Coninck (*Brussels 1994) chooses the very same topic. The represented bodies are deprived of their identity and are just the leftovers of one’s existence. The bodies ask not to be spectated, but to be welcomed like the bodies you have seen your whole life. Any body, whose lips, nails, the rings under our eyes and the marks on our skin will turn blue.
