Hi, I am a product designer from China. I studied in Germany and now I am based here, running my own studio and my floral lifestyle brand Zaiye. I’ve showcased my work in the Milan Design Week 2025, Dutch Design Week 2024 and Ambiente Talents and Trends 2024. I am also a nominee for the German Design Award Newcomer.

I offer some soft and sweet places for not only things but also people to land on.

A Soft Place is a silicone ring. I used a type of silicone that is used in the field of soft robotics in this product. The material has a skin-like texture and is highly deformable. Each piece is handmade and the colors are specially selected and blended.

Each user can complete the definition of this product with their own creativity and imagination. It can be used as a deformable plate without a bottom for fruits or anything. Because it has no bottom, its shape changes with the shape of the object. It is also used for new containers of floral designs. Because silicone insulates against heat, it can also be used as a pot holder. Or it becomes a soft place for people to release their inner insecurities and stress, just hold it and stretch it to relax your mind and body.

This product keeps people motivated to live positively by allowing the soft material to morph and the bright colors to keep them calm in a stressful modern life.
